Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander, the 4-time Major champion, has declared his readiness to return to competitive Counter-Strike following a hiatus that began in June. This development has sent ripples of excitement through the Counter Strike community, particularly at a time when many top-tier teams are undergoing roster changes in the wake of the CS2 release. '

A CHANGE OF COURSE

The Danish IGL, a pivotal figure in Astralis since November 2016 and a four-time Major winner with the organization, has been on the sidelines due to deteriorating results in the latter years of his leadership. Astralis' last LAN title was secured at BLAST Pro Series Global Final in 2019, leading to a summer 2023 rebuild that saw the departure of gla1ve and the addition of new talent, including Victor "Staehr" Staehr and Johannes "b0RUP" Borup.

READY FOR A COMEBACK

After four months away from active competition, gla1ve has voiced his eagerness to return. In a recent tweet, he stated,

"Sometimes it takes one step back to take two forward. I'm finally feeling like I'm ready to play the best CS of my life again and I'm ready to jump back on the server."

Despite being under contract with Astralis, the organization has allowed gla1ve to explore potential offers. This move opens the door to exciting possibilities for the veteran player and paves the way for him to breathe new life into his CS career.

NINJAS IN PYJAMAS RUMORS

Speculation had swirled around gla1ve potentially joining Ninjas in Pyjamas, but the player's announcement has clarified that he won't be the in-game leader joining the Swedish organization, as previously teased.

With a decorated career behind him and a burning desire to return to the CS2 stage, the community eagerly awaits the next chapter of gla1ve's journey. Where he lands and how he performs will undoubtedly be a story worth following.

CS2 Major Revenue Share Changes Are Pushing Organizations Away from Counter-Strike

Valve’s new CS2 Major revenue share ties sticker income to VRS and final placement, removing capsule‑style payouts and concentrating money among top finishers. The result: higher volatility for clubs that relied on sticker cheques, early roster cuts like Gaimin Gladiators, and a narrower field of sustainable CS2 organizations unless the payout model changes.
