FURIA Releases Full R6 Roster, Team Liquid Rumored to Pick It Up

FURIA has officially ended its project with the ex-W7M, Six Invitational-winning Rainbow Six Siege roster, closing a high-profile chapter and freeing one of Brazil's most succesful lineups for a likely pre-arranged move.

The expectation in the scene is that this core will now join Team Liquid, which has been working for months on a plan to rebuild its historic R6 brand around them, although nothing has been formally confirmed yet.

What the Ex‑W7M/FURIA Roster Achieved

Between the W7M era and the FURIA chapter, this core became one of the most successful lineups in R6 history. Under W7M, they completed the rare triple of two Majors plus a Six Invitational in essentially one competitive season, something no other roster had done before. Already wearing FURIA’s jersey, they stayed near the top of international play, even if they did not repeat a world title:

Even before the official split, head coach igoorctg referred to SI 2026 in Paris as the “last dance” for this roster, reinforcing the idea that both org and players already saw the project as finite.

Team Liquid and the Transfer Rumors

Rumors connecting this roster to Team Liquid have been circulating since at least December 2025, when reports suggested Liquid was in talks to acquire four of FURIA’s players after SI 2026. According to those early leaks, HerdsZ would be the only starter not involved in the potential move, with the idea that he could remain at FURIA to help build a new project, possibly alongside former teammate volpz, who currently plays for Fluxo W7M.

The story became more complex when Jv92 publicly denied, on social media, that he was heading to Liquid, calling the information fake and asking people to stop insisting, which cooled the initial wave of leaks but did not fully close the door on negotiations behind the scenes. Since then, community discussions and further reports have described a possible Liquid lineup built around four members of the ex‑FURIA roster plus a new fifth: names like Loira and Maia have been mentioned in threads and rumor trackers.

What Happens Next for FURIA and the Players?

On FURIA’s side, the organisation now has room to either step back again from Rainbow Six or to assemble a cheaper, more developmental lineup built around remaining staff or individual pieces, as was floated when HerdsZ and volpz were linked to a possible new project together.

Given FURIA’s past comments about only staying in games that fit its business vision, any future R6 move will likely depend on how the ecosystem evolves and what kind of opportunities appear in the Brazilian market.

For the players, leaving FURIA as one of the top‑ranked teams in the world and with a long list of trophies keeps their bargaining power very high, which explains why discussions with Liquid and other organisations have been so intense.

Until any official roster announcement appears, the only certainty is that this core will remain one of the most coveted projects in international Rainbow Six... and that wherever they land next, expectations will start high from day one.
