Kwangdong Freecs beat kt Rolster 2-0 and Gen.G won 2-1 against Liiv SANDBOX in the 2023 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) Spring Split on Feb. 3 at LOL Park in Seoul, South Korea.

KDF's win was their first series win of the year, while GEN moved to the top spot in the league with their win.

Kwangdong Freecs won Game 1 against kt Rolster by a 13-4 score in 34:39. The star was KDF botlaner Kim "Taeyoon" Tae-yoon, who notched a quadra kill and a penta kill on his 9/1/3 Zeri. Game 1: LSB wins

Liiv SANDBOX started off strong against Gen.G with a 23-13 victory in Game 1 that lasted 35:34. LSB midlaner Lee "Clozer" Ju-hyeon was massive on his 10/3/9 Sylas, but it was botlaner Lee "Envyy" Myeong-joon's 8/1/12 score on Varus that earned Player of the Game honors. Gen.G tied the series with a 36:22-long 17-8 win. GEN botlaner Kim "Peyz" Su-hwan's 6/0/8 Sivir and toplaner toplaner Choi "Doran" Hyeon-joon's 3/1/9 Gwen were too much for LSB to handle.
