Fnatic is one of the most notable organisations in the world of counter-strike esports. The org has been part of the counter-strike ecosystem since 2004. It housed some legendary counter-strike figures such as cArn, f0rest, Get_Right, Karrigan, olofmeister and many more. However, the organisation has been struggling recently. The organisation's last S-tier tournament win came in 2019 with Dreamhack Masters Malmo.

With the new era of Counter-Strike esports on the horizon, Fnatic has decided to make some changes. They recently let go of the Danish awper nicoodoz. The team has now picked up Australian IGL and player Christopher “Dexter” Nong along with French Aurélien “Afro” Drapier. Dexter is a stage-proven IGL and will be a strong addition to the team. Dexter’s last venture with MOUZ was a huge success, where the Australian led the team to heights comparable to the Karrigan days. Afro has been around for a while but most notably played for HEET and Team LDLC. The Awper has slowly solidified himself as a strong player.

The criticism for the roster is massive, especially Afro over nicoodoz and how it’d fare. The community has expressed their concerns about the team being able to go toe-to-toe with some of the existing superteams. We don’t know how the roster will fare until we see them play. But the roster does not look comparable to the current top teams in Counter-Strike.

Fow now, the Fnatic Counter-Strike roster is as follows:

  • Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson
  • William “mezii” Merriman
  • Fredrik “roeJ” Jorgensen
  •  Aurélien “Afro” Drapier
  • Christopher “Dexter” Nong

Another Early Exit, Same Old Story: Team Falcons Are Running Out Of Excuses

There is a cruel irony at the heart of Team Falcons' CS2 project. Hand someone from 2022 their current roster sheet — NiKo, m0NESY, TeSeS, Kyxsan, kyosuke, all under the tutelage of five-time Major-winning coach Zonic — and they would confidently declare this team the undisputed best in the world. And yet, here we are in March 2026, watching Falcons get knocked out of BLAST Open Spring in the quarterfinals by PARIVISION.
