ENCE pulled the plug by swapping their longest standing member Paweł “dycha” Dycha, and promoting Paavo "podi" Heiskanen from the academy team.

Aleksander "hades" Miskiewicz and "dycha" are moved to the bench as they welcome "podi" and Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev to the main roster.

Although ENCE had a great run at IEM Katowice 2024 and the RMR, things went downhill ever since, resulting in the roster changes. According to the organization, they “haven’t reached the desired level of performance” with the Polish roster.

Initially, the Finnish organization signed the former 9INE trio to maintain their RMR spot. But, as the events went by, it became clear that success was far-fetched with such a lineup.

ENCE CS Head Coach, Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński, opened up to the reasoning behind the change. Namely, the lack of progression stands as a big factor for it.

“In the current season, we have met the goals set beforehand, but my sporting ambition does not allow me to accept the lack of progression. We gave this team many chances and tried to solve ongoing problems in every possible way, but unfortunately, things didn't click in this setup. The aura built on the Katowice run quickly passed, and frustration grew in each of us.”

Moreover, the flame that lit IEM Katowice went dim quickly, which created a significantly worse atmosphere within the team, according to their head coach.

“Our players are great individuals, but we need a TEAM to win systematically. Bring back the joy and do it with passion. The environment players create together should be fun; lately, we’ve lost that spark. At this point, we have to make changes.”

ENCE's new veteran and young prodigy

"A year ago IEM Dallas 2023 champion and now the bench," dycha said on X. "More than three years at ENCE. I was just not happy in this team and I didn't want to be here anymore."

The frustration on the benched players was clear, especially “dycha”, as he’s been changing roles constantly to make the lineup work.

Replacing him is “sdy”. The Ukrainian player boasts quite the resume having played for Spirit, Mad Lions, NAVI and Monte. Notably, he clinched his first major victory with NAVI at the BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022.

The other piece of the puzzle, “podi”, the rising star of Finnish CS is taking a major leap in his career as he transitions from the ENCE Academy to our main roster. At a mere 19 years old, he has been a consistent force to reckon with, delivering consistently in the lower tiers. Now, he's ready to prove his worth in tier 1 CS.

The new lineup will make their debut at the BLAST Fall Showdown qualifier on the first of June, hoping to see them hit the ground running early.

CS2 Major Revenue Share Changes Are Pushing Organizations Away from Counter-Strike

Valve’s new CS2 Major revenue share ties sticker income to VRS and final placement, removing capsule‑style payouts and concentrating money among top finishers. The result: higher volatility for clubs that relied on sticker cheques, early roster cuts like Gaimin Gladiators, and a narrower field of sustainable CS2 organizations unless the payout model changes.
