Team Liquid, TSM, Cloud9, 100 Thieves and Dignitas won on March 9, the first day of Week 7 of the 2023 League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) Spring Split at Riot Games Arena in Santa Monica, Calif., United States.

FlyQuest vs. Team Liquid

In a startling upset, Team Liquid took down top-ranked FlyQuest 20-6 in 26:31. TL's jungler Hong "Pyosik" Chang-hyeon and mid laner Harry "Haeri" Kang each attained 7/1/8 scores on Lee Sin and Ahri; and the team's bot lane of Sean "Yeon" Sung and support Jo "CoreJJ" Yong-in went 2/0/13 on Aphelios and 3/1/12 on Thresh. FLY failed to find a single major objective, but top laner Jeong "Impact" Eon-young went 5/3/1 on K'Sante in the loss. LCS Player of the Game: TL Pyosik, 3rd

TSM vs. Immortals

TSM won 19-16 against Immortals in 44:22. TSM bot laner Jason “WildTurtle” Tran earned Player of the Game honors for his 10/3/6 Caitlyn and led all players in kills on the day (as well as Flame Horizon-ing his opponent), while jungler Lee "Bugi" Seong-yeop found a 4/3/5 Wukong score. On the losing side, IMT jungler Shane Kenneth "Kenvi" Espinoza and mid laner Onur Can "Bolulu" Demirol were 5/3/7 on Viego and 6/2/7 on a surprise Vel'Koz. Evil Geniuses vs. Cloud9

Cloud9 won 13-10 against Evil Geniuses in 35:07 to tie FlyQuest for first in the league. C9 mid laner Jang “EMENES” Min-soo stole the show and went 5/2/4 on Tryndamere; bot laner Kim "Berserker" Min-cheol was 4/2/3 on Lucian; and support Jesper "Zven" Svenningsen found a 2/2/7 Nami performance. EG's top laner Kim "Ssumday" Chan-ho and bot laner Ian Victor "FBI" Huang finished 2/0/4 on K'Sante and 4/2/3 on Aphelios in the loss, and mid laner Joseph Joon "jojopyun" Pyun played remotely and went 2/6/6 on Yone. Golden Guardians vs. 100 Thieves

100 Thieves upset Golden Guardians 13-5 in 24:15. 100T's top laner Milan "Tenacity" Oleksij and mid laner Søren "Bjergsen" Bjerg were 2/1/7 on Gragas and 3/0/9 on Azir in supportive roles, while bot laner Yiliang "Doublelift” Peng and jungler Can "Closer" Çelik finished 1/0/6 on Xayah and 7/2/5 on Lee Sin. GG only managed to take two towers and two drakes in the loss. LCS Player of the Game: 100 Closer, 1st

Counter Logic Gaming vs. Dignitas

In yet another upset -- a back-and-forth one at that -- Dignitas won 19-14 against Counter Logic Gaming in 45:27. DIG top laner İrfan Berk "Armut" Tükek finished 6/1/8 on Renekton, while mid laner Nicolaj "Jensen" Jensen's Cassiopeia found a 6/2/7 KDA. CLG almost mounted a comeback on the backs of bot laner Fatih "Luger" Güven's 5/3/6 Xayah and mid laner Cristian "Palafox" Palafox's 8/1/4 Aurelion Sol, who led all players in kills.
