During Team Aster's run at the Bali Major, they performed well in the group stage. They secured a spot in the Upper Bracket, pitted against Quest Esports. Even during groups, the European region proved to be a strong competitor for Aster. And that did not change as they lose two games in a row in the playoffs. It disappointed Aster as they did not secure enough DPC points to get a direct invite to TI12.

Boboka's Impulsive Decision

Now, after Aster's elimination, surely, the thought of going through the Regional qualifiers is not a good sight. Getting eliminated from the Bali Major erupted in a spat between the team. CN Dota In A Nutshell mentioned that BurNIng( Co-owner of Aster) knew the reason behind it, but will keep it private.

The argument resulted in Boboka deciding to leave the team. Burning tried to convince the pos4 player not to make a decision solely based on impulse but failed.

Boboka then posted on Weibo that he is looking for a team. The experienced player mentioned that he is most comfortable in the support role, but is willing to play pos3 as well.

Team Aster's Pos4 Replacement

Post Boboka's leave, Aster started to look for a replacement. And they found Chinese Dota2 veteran, Kaka. With such an experienced mind on the team, it will surely boost Team Aster's potential.

Former Aster players' thoughts

Sylar who played as the team's pos1 mentioned that Boboka was not very communicative. The pos4 player would ping or use in-game signs to notify his team.

Team Aster's former coach rotK said that when they lost even a single game, the atmosphere of the team would be tense.
