The Semifinals of the Blast R6 Copenhagen Major took place on the 6th of May. The final 4 teams had a fierce fight, and the best of them will fight it out in the Grand Finals for the title of Champion.

Game 1: w7m vs Soniqs

W7m started the day off by taking the first win of the day against Soniqs at 2-0.

Map 1 was Chalet, where w7m had a decent attacking side, managing to take 3 rounds to end the half at 3-3. Following that, they had an impressive defensive half, managing to win 4 rounds and secure the map win at 7-4.

W7m had a dominant run on Oregon. On their defense, Soniqs were allowed only one round, as w7m ended the half 5-1. Soniqs did try to fight back on their own defense, but w7m were just too overwhelming. They took the map 7-3, and secured their place in the Grand Finals.

Game 2: Faze Clan vs Team Liquid

It was Team Liquid who came out on top of this LATAM Derby, as they won the series 2-0.

Viewers were again treated to the icy landscape of Chalet, as Team Liquid had quite the dominant run. A flawless defense side, Faze Clan had no answers for the defensive setups of Liquid. They won the first map 7-1.

Things were a bit closer on Border. Faze put up a decent attack, managing to end the first half at 3-3. But then Liquid had pulled out a near perfect attack side, allowing Faze to win only one round, and ended the map 7-4. They have secured their spot in the Grand Finals, and will face w7m.

W7m and Team Liquid will fight it out in the Grand Finals of Blast R6 Copenhagen Major in the Forum Copenhagen Arena.
