The second day of the Berlin Major has ended. While some teams are adapting to the meta and strategizing, others are still struggling. Although these teams can tie the series, it is not enough compared to the current competition. As of now, the bottom 6 teams of the Berlin Major are,

  • Team Liquid
  • Execration
  • TSM
  • Talon Esports
  • Invictus Gaming
  • Beastcoast

Team Liquid is the only team on this list that has not lost a series so far. They have been able to tie all of their series, but that is not the result the fans expected. Liquid has dominated this DPC season and is easily Top 3 to win the Berlin Major. Their games are entertaining to watch. In their series against BetBoomzai's Vaccum into Wall combo on Dark Seer was on point. It gave space for Nisha's Alchemist to get free hits on the enemy, forcing BetBoom to call 'gg'.

Group A Recap

Gaimin Gladiators Vs. BetBoom Team

GG is yet to lose a series in their groups. BetBoom was able to push the team past the 30-minute mark, which is not how GG operates. This cost them game 1 of the series. But they made a comeback in game 2 with Quinn on his Pangolier ending the game at 31 minutes.

PSG.LGD Vs. EG

The Chinese region is slowly making a comeback after facing a lot of issues recently. LGD has managed to win two series in their group, putting them in a better spot than Liquid. Both games were different drafts, showing the team's versatility. NothingToSay carried the game from the midlane on Riki in game 1 and Alchemist in game 2. This gave his carry enough time to farm and then participate in fights. EG had no answer except for calling 'gg' before reaching the late game.

Group B Recap

Xtreme Gaming Vs. Talon Esports

Talon seems lost lately. Their individual performances are amazing but as a team, in-game are not organized. Game 1 in this series went past the 60-minute mark. A mentally exhausting game 1 made the team lose game 2 as well against Xtreme Gaming. Even though 23savage played well on his Bloodseeker the damage was not enough to take on a tanky Dragon Knight & Sven duo.

Team Spirit Vs. OG

OG has only lost one game after two days of Groups. Their first loss was against Team Spirit. Both games ended with a Phantom Lancer fountain dive and getting a rampage. MinD_ContRoL did a great job in game 1 by constantly setting up kills on his Earthshaker. However, in game 2, the buffs and auras from Team Spirit's offlane and supports made them unkillable as the game went on. This ended the series with a draw.

Tundra Esports Vs. Shopify Rebellion

Tundra managed to get both games against SR. Game 1 was dominated by Tundra. Game 2 was going the way of SR, but Nine's 3 man stun in the Roshan Pit turned the game around for Tundra. Underlord, KOTL & Alchemist were drafted by Tundra in both games.
