In a thrilling showdown on the second day of the VCT Pacific League Stage 1 playoffs, all eyes were on the clash between T1 and Gen.G.

With Gen.G hailed as the favorites, T1 entered the arena prepared to defy expectations once again. Building on their momentum from a decisive victory over Team Secret, T1 delivered a masterclass performance, showcasing their skill, strategy, and determination.

Despite the odds stacked against them, T1 emerged triumphant with a 2-1 victory over Gen.G, cementing their place as the first team to qualify for VCT Masters Shanghai.

Transitioning to Sunset, T1 dominated initially, securing a 6-1 lead with four consecutive round wins. Yet, Gen.G mounted a stunning comeback, equalizing the score at 6-6 by halftime. Maintaining their momentum into the second half, Gen.G secured five more rounds consecutively. Thus, ultimately clinching the map 13-8 with relentless offense.
