In a shocking turn of events, GamerLegion Prism, formerly known as Let Her Cook, has found itself in turmoil with the abrupt departures of two of its players shortly after the acquisition of a new roster. The organization, which had just welcomed the fresh talent, is now grappling with controversy and investigations.

In this article, we delve into the details surrounding the sudden exits of Chloe "KittyTM" Geaney and Luna “ManeschijnX” Akkermans, shedding light on the allegations and the ongoing repercussions.

A Swift Exit

Chloe "KittyTM" Geaney Departs

The first blow struck GamerLegion Prism when Chloe "KittyTM" Geaney, a promising talent, parted ways with the team merely two days after their official signing. The decision came in response to disturbing screenshots that surfaced on Twitter, revealing the use of racist and derogatory language by KittyTM via in-game text channels. The screenshots, dating back to September 1, came to light just as GamerLegion proudly introduced its venture into the women's scene with the acquisition of the former Let Her Cook roster.

ManeschijnX's Departure Amidst Cheating Allegations

The turmoil continued for GamerLegion Prism as Luna “ManeschijnX” Akkermans made a surprising exit from the team. In a Twitter statement, ManeschijnX cited "recent events" as the reason for her departure. Thus leaving fans and the esports community puzzled. However, the real bombshell was the alleged connection between ManeschijnX and an account with a different alias, "Bentas,". One which had been banned for cheating in various Benelux-based events.

The accusation, brought forward by former esports player Esmee Pauw. Who suggested that Bentas had "decided to change his identity and 'become a woman' to play in women's league," in order to continue competing in professional Counter-Strike.

The Organization's Response

GamerLegion, now faced with an unexpected crisis, has yet to issue an official statement regarding ManeschijnX's departure. It appears that the organization is treading cautiously in the wake of these controversies. However, it is clear that they are taking the matter seriously. As ManeschijnX herself mentioned that she is working closely with tournament organizer ESL and Counter-Strike platform FACEIT in their "ongoing investigation."

The Impact on the Roster

With the sudden exits of KittyTM and ManeschijnX, the GamerLegion Prism roster has been reduced to just three active players. This development has raised questions about the team's ability to compete effectively in upcoming matches and tournaments. The team was acquired by GamerLegion with high hopes, but it now faces significant challenges as it navigates the fallout from these departures.

Conclusion: A Rocky Start for GL Prism

In the span of just a few days, GamerLegion Prism has faced a rocky start. With the departure of two players and allegations of cheating. The organization now finds itself under scrutiny. They had just entered the women's esports scene with the acquisition of the Let Her Cook roster. As investigations continue and the team adjusts to its new lineup, the future of GL Prism in competitive Counter-Strike remains uncertain.
