The Semi Finals of the Blast.tv Paris Major commenced on the 20th of May.The best of the best of what CSGO has to offer have managed to qualify to the Grand Finals.

Game 1: Heroic vs GamerLegion

GamerLegion showed the entire world that they’re no pushover, as they managed to beat the Danish giants Heroic 2-1 in the series.

  3. GamerLegion picked Ancient
  4. Heroic picked Inferno
  5. Heroic removed Vertigo
  6. GamerLegion removed Nuke
  7. Mirage was left over

Although Heroic had a good start on Ancient, it was GamerLegion who managed to take the lead, as they ended the first half 10-5 off the back of a stellar T-side. However, Heroic managed to make the comeback, as they took the lead on their T-side. Starting off with a 7 round win streak, Heroic rook the map win at 16-13.

However, GL bounced back on Inferno, as the international squad showed off a stellar CT-side. Heroic had a decent start, even having an Ace come out of them. As they ended the first half 9-6. They had a decent start in the second half, but there was no comeback this time, as the Danes conceded the map 16-10 to GamerLegion.

Mirage was left to be the decider map. However, GL had a complete grip on what Heroic was throwing at them. Ending the first half 10-5, GL only gave up only one more round, as GL took the map 16-3.

It was iM leading the table with a whopping 73 kills and a 1.40 Rating overall.

GamerLegion has managed to outplay and outperform Heroic to claim their spot in the Grand Finals.

Game 2: Team Vitality vs Apeks

Vitality secured the second spot of the Grand Finals as they continued their incredible form and ended the series 2-0.

  1. Apeks removed Nuke
  2. Vitality removed Ancient
  3. Apeks picked Mirage
  4. Vitality picked Vertigo
  5. Vitality removed Anubis
  6. Apeks removed Overpass
  7. Inferno was left over

Mirage started off quite even, as both teams traded rounds with each other. They ended the first half 8-7. And it was a similar story in the second half as well. Vitality managed to hold the lead, and win the map 16-14.

Vertigo heavily favored the T-side in this matchup. Vitality started off strong on their T-side, managing to end the first half 10-5. However, Apeks did try to fight back on their own T-side. But it wasn’t enough, as Vitality managed to take the win 16-12.

Sphinx managed to outshine his teammate ZywOo by the one kills, as he topped the table with 51 kills and a 1.45 rating.

Vitality have managed to secure the second spot of the Grand Finals of the Blast.tv Paris Major, where they will face off against GamerLegion.
