On Friday, 24th February, two South American Valorant titans will take on each other at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles.

In the VCT Americas Kickoff Group B Winner’s match-up, LOUD will take on Leviatan for the only direct playoff qualification.

The winner of the fixture will skip the play-in stage and secure a week-long break to prepare for the playoffs.

Setting the Stage

During the VCT 2024 off-season, Aspas, LOUD’s star duelist left the team to join the Argentinian Leviatan.

The organization further bolstered their roster with the VCT Americas Ascension Champion tex and 2023 Valorant Champion C0M, creating a superteam in the Americas.

To fill Aspas’ void, LOUD brought in Qck from FURIA while retaining the core. None of these team’s played International events during the off-season, leaving fans guessing how they’d perform on stage.

At the Kickoff opening game, LOUD dominated Sentinels winning their game 2-0, getting one step closer to the playoffs. Leviatan took down 100 Thieves 2-1 in their series to secure the winner’s matchup.

On Friday, 24th February, Aspas along with his superteam will take on LOUD and their synergy for the Group B playoff qualifier.

LOUD vs. Leviatán Pre-Match Stats

Preview and Predictions

The game will follow the NRG vs. Cloud9 game which will give us the first playoff team for VCT Americas Kickoff.

With the departure of their star duelist, many overlooked LOUD in the opening game. But a stable performance from the core, and the innovative composition helped them dominate Sentinels and win their game.

On the other side, Leviatan was completely outplayed by 100 Thieves on Split. But Aspas’ strong performance on Bind and Icebox helped them secure the winners game.

While the team played well together, the lack of server time was visible in some rounds, coming into the next game, they’d have to fix the issues.

The game will be a firepower vs teamplay battle. The key for LOUD will be shutting down the individuals of Leviatan, whereas LEV has to adjust to the site execution and punish any over-extension from LOUD.

LOUD with the experience of playing together will be slightly favored in the match-up. 75% Strafe users also have voted LOUD as the winner of the fixture.
