In a major shake-up, Finnish esports organization ENCE has revealed its new in-game leader and coach duo. Thus signaling a significant shift in leadership both in and out of the server. The duo comprises Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander, a seasoned 28-year-old IGL, and Jakub "kuben" Gurczynski, a former player and veteran coach. This dynamic pairing is set to replace Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer and Eetu "sAw" Saha. Two people who played pivotal roles in propelling ENCE to the upper echelon of Counter-Strike esports.

Gla1ve's Return to Action

Gla1ve, renowned for his leadership skills, returns to competitive play after a brief hiatus since June. Having secured four Major victories and numerous Big Event triumphs, his departure from Astralis followed a period of less notable success. Now, ENCE aims to harness his experience and leadership prowess to elevate the team's performance.

Gla1ve expresses his excitement about joining ENCE. He emphasized the incredible opportunity and the warm welcome he has received from the team. The 28-year-old Dane is eager to prove his capabilities and contribute to ENCE's success. The new lineup is set to make its debut at the Elisa Masters Espoo in Finland, with their first match against HAVU on November 29.

Kuben: A Strategic Addition

Kuben, formerly associated with the legendary Polish Virtus.pro, steps into the coaching role after guiding Apeks to a Cinderella run at the BLAST.tv Paris Major. With five years of experience in Virtus.pro, Kuben brings a wealth of knowledge to ENCE, showcasing his ability to craft successful strategies and structures.

"Big changes need big names to fill them," emphasizes ENCE's General Manager, Niklas "Willkey" Ojalainen. The decision to bring Kuben on board was a strategic move, especially after assessing the strong working relationship between Gla1ve and Kuben. Ojalainen notes,

"It's really important for us that the coach and the IGL have a good working relationship."

ENCE's Current Roster:

A New Chapter for ENCE

As ENCE unveils its formidable duo of Gla1ve and Kuben, the Finnish esports organization sets the stage for a new chapter marked by experience, strategy, and a thirst for success. With Gla1ve's return to action and Kuben's proven coaching prowess, ENCE aims to build on its legacy and reclaim its position among the elite. The Elisa Masters in Espoo, Finland, will serve as the battleground for their debut, and fans are eager to witness the synergy between the seasoned IGL and the strategic coach.
