The first replacement, runi, played for the Cloud9 roster in 2023. He IGL’d the squad and helped them secure number 2 during the 2023 Americas regular season. But in the classic Cloud9 fashion, they choked in the playoffs and the LCQ missed out on international competition.

Moose played Tier 2 NA in 2023 and put some good numbers on the Shopify Rebellion roster and qualified for the stage 2 playoffs but were eliminated after a loss to G2 Esports and M80.

He qualified for 2024 NA VCL with YFP gaming and concluded the tournament with a solid performance.

With runi and moose, the new Cloud9 will be a completely new roster. They will also look for a new Assistant coach before the Split starts.
