The finals aren’t the only game that enjoyed immense success, the hours watched and the average viewers number have also increased compared to 2023. The average viewers saw a 1.5 time increase whilst the hours watched saw a 1.4 times increase.

T1 still stands as the most popular team to watch, as most of their playoff games saw peak viewership of atleast 1M.

The LCK CL also recorded a peak viewership number not too long ago, when European League star Rekkles debuted with T1 Academy.  Additionally, LEC Winter recorded a peak in 2024, signifying an overall increase in the sports popularity.

The increasing numbers not only are the signs of the growth of LoL esports but also esports as a whole. With a great start to the year across the board, 2024 will likely be another successful year of LoL esports.
