[Updated] PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: All Qualified Teams

The anticipation and excitement surrounding the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 is palpable as teams from across the globe compete for their chance at glory. With the European RMR A kicking off on February 14th, the journey towards qualification has officially begun. As the remaining RMRs unfold in quick succession, the landscape of competitive Counter-Strike will undoubtedly shift. This article serves as a comprehensive guide, keeping readers updated on all teams securing their spots in the first ever CS2 Major.

PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 RMRs

European RMR A & B:

Following the Swiss Bracket format for both European RMRs, the top 8 out of 16 teams will directly qualify for the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024. Read more about the format HERE. Teams placed 9th–11th will have a final chance to qualify in the Decider Bracket. While everyone else will be eliminated.

The current teams qualified for the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 from EU RMR A are:

Fnatic, 9Pandas and BetBoom did not manage to qualify for the Major but did so for the Decider Bracket. They will get one more shot at qualification.

The current teams qualified for the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 from EU RMR B are:

Guild Eagles, Astralis and GamerLegion did not manage to qualify for the Major but did so for the Decider Bracket. They will get one more shot at qualification.

Decider Bracket:

Six teams from the European RMRs made their way into the Decider Bracket. From this Last Chance Qualifier, one team has managed to secure their spot in the Major.

9 Pandas were disqualified as they failed to reach the venue before the deadline. The team faced travel issues leading to GamerLegion taking their spot at the Major. 

 

American RMR:

Following the Swiss bracket for the American RMR, only the top 5 teams will make it to the Major. While the remaining 11 teams will be eliminated. There is no Decider Bracket for the Americas.

The qualified teams from the American RMR are:

Asia-Pacific RMR:

Following a Double-Elimination knockout bracket, 2 out of 8 teams will qualify for the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024. There are only two spots available from the APAC region, and there is no Decider Bracket.

The teams that qualified are:

Team Distribution:

Faze Clan, Team Spirit, Team Vitality, MOUZ, Complexity Gaming, Virtus.pro, Natus Vincere and G2 Esports will get direct invitations to the Elimination Stage (formerly the Legends Stage), while the remaining teams will have to play through the Opening Stage (formerly the Challengers Stage).
