After two weeks of electrifying competition, the BLAST Open Fall 2025 is set to conclude with a blockbuster Grand Final at the Wembley Arena in London. The stage is set for a battle between two European giants – Team Vitality and G2 Esports – both eager to claim the trophy and add another piece of silverware to their cabinets.

Team Vitality: Back in Winning Form

Team Vitality enter the Grand Finals looking stronger than ever after months of inconsistent performances. Since their Major triumph at the Austin earlier this year, Vitality appeared to have lost some steam. Their standards are exceptionally high, and what many teams would consider strong performances were seen as underwhelming for the reigning Major winners.

The qualifiers for this tournament showcased that Vitality aren’t the same force they were in Austin, but their run was still unbeaten, proving their resilience. ZywOo has once again found his peak form, and his dominance has been complemented superbly by flameZ, who has been nearly as lethal. Add to that the home-field advantage for mezii in London, and Vitality look poised to repeat their Major-winning heroics.

Most notably, Vitality secured sweet revenge over MOUZ in the semi-finals, avenging their IEM Cologne loss and regaining momentum. With their confidence restored, they look every bit like the favorites for yet another trophy.

G2 Esports: Redemption Story

The road to the Grand Finals has been nothing short of a redemption arc for G2 Esports. Following one of the toughest stretches in recent years, highlighted by underperformance at the BLAST.tv Austin Major, G2 rebuilt their squad.

Their roster overhaul saw huNter- take on the IGL role, while Heroic’s Álvaro “SunPayus” García and Fnatic’s Matúš “matys” Šimko injected fresh blood into the lineup. Heroic coaches Eetu “sAw” Saha and Mikael “sheddaN” Mellström also revitalized the team’s structure after the departures of NiKo, m0NESY and TaZ.

The change has been transformative. HeavyGod has stepped up as a consistent damage dealer, while SunPayus has slotted in seamlessly with strong performances, including an MVP showing in their semifinal win over FURIA. For a team that hasn’t seen a Grand Final in 146 days, this moment signals a chance to re-establish themselves as a true title contender on the global stage.

Map Veto and Predictions

With Vitality banning Ancient and G2 removing Nuke, the series will hinge heavily on strategic map choices. Both teams enjoy Dust2, making it a potential battleground early in the series. G2 are likely to lean into Mirage, where Vitality have struggled recently, while Vitality’s comfort on Inferno could give them an edge. If the match stretches to Train as the decider, G2 may find themselves in dangerous territory against the more polished Vitality.

While G2 have displayed admirable growth and stability, Vitality’s ceiling remains significantly higher. ZywOo’s brilliance, combined with flameZ’s consistency, makes it difficult to bet against them. Expect a competitive series, but Vitality should have enough to secure a 3-1 victory and add another trophy to their 2025 collection.

The Final Showdown

The stakes couldn’t be higher as the Wembley Arena crowd prepares to witness two revitalized rosters battling for supremacy. For Vitality, this is about cementing their dynasty. For G2, it’s a chance to prove they’re truly back. Either way, BLAST Open Fall 2025 promises to deliver one of the year’s most thrilling Counter-Strike finales.
