The road to the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 is paved with intense competition as European teams gear up for the Regional Major Ranking (RMR) tournaments. These events serve as crucial battlegrounds for teams vying to secure spots at the prestigious Major tournament. With seasoned veterans and rising stars in the mix, the European RMRs promise electrifying matches and fierce rivalries.

Schedule

Mark your calendars for the EU RMR A, scheduled from February 14th to February 17th, 2024, followed by EU RMR B from February 19th to February 22nd, 2024. Both tournaments will unfold at the PGL Studio in Bucharest, setting the stage for high-stakes encounters.

Format

The format features a rigorous 16-team Swiss System.

  • All matches (except elimination and advancement clashes) are Bo1.
  • Elimination and advancement matches intensify with Bo3 showdowns.
  • The Buchholz System is used to intricately seed matches from Rounds 3 to 5.
  • The top 8 teams secure coveted spots at the Copenhagen Major.
  • While the next 3 teams battle through Decider Brackets.
  • The bottom 5 teams will be eliminated.
