The Regular Season at the LEC Spring 2025 has come and gone, leaving Karmine Corp alone at the top of the standings as we head for the Playoffs. After a fiercely competitive seven weeks of games, the time has come to take a look at the champions that dominated the stage through their overwhelming presence at the Regular Season.

Engage Supports Take Over

If you've followed the LEC Spring 2025 closely so far, then it will come as no surprise to see Rell and Alistar share the top spot for the most picked champion of the Regular Season at 38 total picks each, while also receiving 20 and 16 bans (respectively) to boot.

Perhaps the surprising part, though, could be finding three different supports appear in the top five most picked champions with the inclusion of Rakan. For reference, the first enchanter support to make the list is Karma, with just 4 picks to her name. Clearly, teams are not planning to move away from engage supports any time soon unless changes in the meta demand it.

Taliyah Does It All

Just a single pick away from claiming the top spot overall, Taliyah rises as the most sought after champion in the mid lane at the LEC. The Stoneweaver's good DPS, her swift movements around the map thanks to her [P] Rock Surfing, and her ability to eliminate a high-priority target by landing a crucial [W] Seismic Shove in teamfights make Taliyah an ideal pick for pro play at the moment.

With the rise of engage supports, Taliyah has an easier time landing shoves now than ever before, which help explain her overwhelming presence in the LEC, as well as high win rate of 62.2%.

Varus Dishing Out the Pain

As the most picked ADC of the Regular Season, Varus boasts a win rate of 63.6%. Though his long range and access to self-peel are all great tools to have, it's the sheer amount of damage Varus is able to put out that truly let him stand above the competition.

Across the season, Varus holds the highest damage per minute (803.3) out of any champion picked more than twice at the LEC Spring 2025.

Rumble: The Top Lane Terror

After receiving a whopping 49 bans across the Regular Season at the LEC Spring 2025, Rumble was picked just 24 times, making him the second most picked champion in the top lane after Gnar. His overwhelming number of bans, however, come with a good reason.

Across the 24 times he was picked, Rumble held an incredible 83.3% win rate; the highest out of any champion picked more than twice at the Regular Season. The player who got his hands on Rumble the most was Movistar KOI's top laner Myrwn with 5 picks, ending up with 4 wins and just 1 loss on the champion.

With the stakes about to get a whole lot higher, can Rumble overtake Kalista to become most banned champion of the Playoffs at the LEC Spring 2025?
