FlyQuest Become the First Back-to-Back Champions of the LTA North
There simply seems to be no team in the LTA, North or otherwise, capable of stopping FlyQuest. Losing just two games in the entirety of Split 3, FlyQuest have taken down 100 Thieves in the Grand Finals to win back-to-back titles in the LTA North.
For 100 Thieves, their journey in the North American league may have come to an end, but the team still has a chance to make the region proud one final time.
New League, Same FlyQuest
This exact same iteration of FlyQuest became the last champions of the LCS just one year ago before the league underwent its rebranding. Now, the squad continues to demonstrate its superiority over the competition, winning Split 2 & 3 of the LTA North to become the first back-to-back champions of the league under its new name (for whatever that's worth).
FLY Run the North
FlyQuest didn't just win the league, though; they dominated. Heading into the Grand Finals, the team had dropped just a single game in Split 3, playoffs included. The start of the finals looked to paint 100 Thieves as the first real challenge to the FlyQuest supremacy, with the Thieves losing the first game of the series by the slimmest of margins. Immediately afterwards, 100T claimed the next game to even up the series 1-1, making FLY sweat for the first time in a while...

Unfortunately for the Thieves, this only seemed to anger FlyQuest, who took the next game with an emphatic 15-1 scoreline. From there, FLY were not going to let go of the steering wheel, securing the final game of the series after an inspired performance from Inspired, who finished Game 4 with an 11/1/8 KDA on Trundle.
With a 3-1 scoreline in the finals and just 2 games lost throughout the entire tournament, FlyQuest claimed the Split 3 trophy, as well as a well-earned spot at Worlds 2025!
Bwipo Takes Finals MVP
Despite his unconventional playstyle, and picks (like Sejuani top), Bwipo proved vital for FlyQuest in the Grand Finals. The Belgian top laner expertly maneuvered in and out of teamfights, repeatedly buying the rest of his team enough time to take over. For his efforts, Bwipo was named Player of the Series.
Goodbye, 100 Thieves
Though 100 Thieves may have fallen just short of completing the miracle run, there is no denying the team's efforts in Split 3. With the Grand Finals done and dusted, 100 Thieves have now officially played their last game in the LCS/LTA North.
The team may have confirmed they will be leaving the league at the end of the year, but they have earned themselves one more chance to make North America proud. Their top-3 finish in Split 3 qualified the team for the LTA Championship in Texas, where 100 Thieves, FlyQuest, and Shopify Rebellion will compete against the best teams from the LTA South for a chance to book their ticket to Worlds 2025.
What better way for 100 Thieves to say goodbye than to represent the region at Worlds one final time and, who knows, maybe make some magic happen while they're there?
