BetBoom Team has been dealt a surprising shakeup as two key players, Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov and Aleksandr "zorte" Zagodyrenko, will not be able to participate in the BLAST Bounty Season 1 Finals. Visa complications have sidelined the duo, forcing the Russian organization to make emergency roster adjustments ahead of the LAN tournament in Copenhagen.

A Blow to BetBoom’s Promising New Roster

The timing of the visa issues could not be worse for BetBoom, as the team had been building momentum with their revamped lineup. Boombl4 and Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov, both acquired during the off-season, had already made a mark by helping BetBoom secure key victories in the online Bounty stage. Their performance included defeating MOUZ, the fourth-highest-ranked team in the world. And clinching a spot in the LAN finals with a hard-fought win against FURIA.

Boombl4’s leadership as IGL and Ax1Le’s individual brilliance were instrumental in BetBoom’s success during the qualifiers. With Boombl4 now absent, questions arise about how the team will adapt tactically. And who will take on the role of primary AWPer, which zorte typically fills.

nafany and KaiR0N- to Stand In for BetBoom

In response to the sudden setbacks, BetBoom has called upon Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov and Aleksandr "KaiR0N-" Anashkin as stand-ins for the event. Both players, who were previously benched following BetBoom's disappointing campaign at the Perfect World Shanghai Major Europe RMR, have been registered as substitutes for the tournament.

This roster change provides an unexpected reunion for nafany and Ax1Le, who last played together during their time on Gambit Youngsters, Gambit, and later Cloud9. The duo’s past includes several major accomplishments, including winning IEM Dallas 2022 before nafany’s benching in mid-2023.

However, their success was built on consistent practice and chemistry. Both of which will be difficult to replicate under the current circumstances.

BetBoom’s Adjusted Roster

Despite the obstacles, BetBoom remains determined to compete at the LAN event with the following roster:

Artem "RAiLWAY" Gradovich will continue as head coach.

The absence of Boombl4 and zorte significantly alters BetBoom’s competitive outlook at BLAST Bounty Season 1 Finals. While the return of nafany and KaiR0N- provides some hope, the team faces an uphill battle as they adapt to the sudden roster changes.

The tournament in Copenhagen will serve as a litmus test for BetBoom’s resilience and ability to innovate under pressure. Fans and analysts alike will be watching closely to see how the team navigates this unexpected challenge.

Another Early Exit, Same Old Story: Team Falcons Are Running Out Of Excuses

There is a cruel irony at the heart of Team Falcons' CS2 project. Hand someone from 2022 their current roster sheet — NiKo, m0NESY, TeSeS, Kyxsan, kyosuke, all under the tutelage of five-time Major-winning coach Zonic — and they would confidently declare this team the undisputed best in the world. And yet, here we are in March 2026, watching Falcons get knocked out of BLAST Open Spring in the quarterfinals by PARIVISION.
