All 2025 VCT Season Awards Winners for Every Region: Fnatic and Paper Rex Clean House
The 2025 VCT Season Awards winners have been announced, honoring the best and biggest players across each of the four VCT regions for their excellence and consistency throughout the year. The VCT Season Awards are split into nine different categories, separating players per role but also rewarding overall standout performers through awards like the Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and more.
Let's take a look at the complete list of 2025 VCT Season Awards winners throughout the Americas, EMEA, China, and Pacific regions.
All 2025 VCT Season Awards Winners
VCT Americas Awards Winners
- Rookie of the Year: Brock "brawk" Somerhalder (NRG)
- Duelist of the Year: Erick "aspas" Santos (MIBR)
- Sentinel of the Year: Nathan "leaf" Orf (G2)

- Player of the Year: Erick "aspas" Santos (MIBR)
G2 Esports, MIBR, and NRG split the entirety of the 2025 VCT Americas awards among themselves, the latter no doubt partly thanks to some recency bias. When it comes to his region, though, aspas continues to prove year in and year out that he is a cut above the competition after coming away with the most prestigious award in the Americas.

VCT EMEA Awards Winners
- Rookie of the Year: Kajetan "kaajak" Haremski (FNC)
- Duelist of the Year: Kajetan "kaajak" Haremski (FNC)
- Sentinel of the Year: Emir "Alfajer" Beder (FNC)
- Controller of the Year: Uğur "Ruxic" Güç (NAVI)
- Initiator of the Year: Enes "RieNs" Ecirli (TH)
- In-Game Leader (IGL) of the Year: Jake "Boaster" Howlett (FNC)

- Player of the Year: Kajetan "kaajak" Haremski (FNC)
No, EMEA is not a one team region. That said, Fnatic all but cleaned house at the 2025 VCT EMEA awards. The man of the hour, however, was none other than kaajak. In his first year competing at the top level, the Polish duelist took the region by storm, winning every single award he was eligible for at these VCT Season Awards.
Despite all of kaajak and Fnatic's terrific form in 2025, they failed to win a single international tournament, settling for second place in three consecutive events. Will the team manage to get over the final hurdle in 2026?

The 2025 VCT Pacific awards came very close to being nothing but the Paper Rex show. In fact, every single member of PRX other than Wang "Jinggg" Jing Jie received an award, demonstrating that their recipe for success lies in synergy and teamplay above all else.
How Does the VCT Awards Voting Work?
The 2025 VCT Season Awards voting was carried out by members of the broadcast team, outside media, and one player, coach, and streamer from each VCT team in the region. Additionally, it's worth noting that teams were not allowed to vote for themselves in any way.
Anyone voting got to select their three names for every award, ranking them as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Each first place vote awards a player 3 points, a second place vote awards 2 points, and a third place vote 1 point. In the end, the total votes and points and tallied, and that's how you get your winners!
