As the anticipation reaches its peak in the electrifying atmosphere of the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, the grand finale of the inaugural CS2 Major stands poised to deliver a clash of titans.

In a showdown that promises to be nothing short of spectacular, two juggernauts of Counter-Strike, FaZe Clan and Natus Vincere, step onto the digital battlefield. Both vying for supremacy and the coveted Major title.

Both teams boast formidable lineups and a wealth of competitive experience. And the stage is set for an unforgettable showdown of skill, strategy, and nail-biting action. Welcome to the pinnacle of competitive CS2: the PGL Major Copenhagen Grand Final.

Semifinals Recap:

FaZe Clan stomped over reigning Major Champions Team Vitality to solidify their spot in the Grand Finals. With electrifying performances by David "frozen" Čerňanský and Håvard "rain" Nygaard, they won the series 2-1, with dominant victories on their pick of Nuke, and the decider Inferno.

Natus Vincere were pitted against their long-time rivals G2 Esports in what was one of the most entertaining matchups in the Major. NaVi won the series 2-1 after a dominant showing on G2’s pick of Anubis. And a mind-boggling ace by Justinas "jL" Lekavicius which turned the game around on the decider, Ancient.

The Grand Finals: FaZe vs NaVi

Both teams come into this matchup as former Major winners in CSGO. However, there have been changes in both rosters since the last time they lifted the coveted trophy.

FaZe Clan

FaZe had acquired the services of frozen to replace Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken from their former Major winning roster. Even though frozen had some big shoes to fill, he has managed to rise up to the occasion.

With the other members of the squad also firing on all cylinders in the Major, FaZe Clan go in as the favorites in this matchup. Their playoff matches against Team Spirit and Vitality showcased their immense firepower and quick adaptability to create wins out of losing rounds.

Natus Vincere

Although NaVi might have won the Major back in 2021 at Stockholm, only Valerij "b1t" Vakhovsjkyj and Andrij "B1ad3" Ghorodensjkyj are what remain of that roster. However, this new NaVi roster is nothing to be scoffed at. With players like jL and Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov having the tournament of their lives.

And under the guidance of Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen, a Major finalist in his own right, with his innate talent of finding the smallest of gaps in the opponent's defenses, NaVi are not an opponent to be taken lightly.

However, big-stage experience does matter quite a lot in situations like this. And FaZe Clan has heaps of those on this roster. FaZe Clan are our pick to win the matchup 2-1.

The stage is set and the tension mounts. The PGL Major Copenhagen Grand Finals promise an exhilarating conclusion to an already thrilling tournament. Fans can expect nothing short of a spectacle filled with precision, strategy, and heart-pounding moments.

Whether FaZe unleashes its firepower or NaVi demonstrates its tactical finesse, one certainty remains: the Grand Finals will undoubtedly leave a lasting imprint on the annals of CS2 history.
