Teams are turning up the heat at LEC Spring 2025 as the fight for one of the six Playoffs spots grows fiercer by the minute. With Week 2 now done and dusted, who were the champions teams leaned on the most this week?

Let's take a look at the most picked champions of Week 2 of the LEC Spring Regular Season as Fearless Draft continues to push champion variety to the max.

Engage, engage, engage

This week, the holy trinity of tank-engage champions (Rell, Alistar, and Leona) have taken over rift in the LEC, surpassing their bot lane counterparts of Varus and Ezreal at the top of this week's list.

Though Leona doesn't feature in the top 3, that is only because she wasn't banned once. As for sheer numbers of picks, Leona was picked 6 times this week, just like Alistar.

Despite Rell claiming the top spot in picks, it is Alistar who continues to trample the opposition, claiming a far higher win rate at 66.7% - the highest out of any champion picked 6 times or more.

Meanwhile, Rakan's pick rate has surprisingly fallen off a cliff in the LEC. After sharing the top spot for the most picked champion of Week 1, Rakan was only picked a total of 3 times this time around, with players preferring tankier options instead.

Viktor takes off, but at what cost?

During Week 2 of the LEC Spring, Viktor's number of picks shot up to see the champion claim the second spot. Despite the players' trust in the pick, Viktor has failed to live up to expectations, putting up a disappointing 33.3% win rate over the week.

Though the champion certainly can be incredibly oppressive, Week 2 in the LEC served as a stark reminder that we can't all be Chovy.

Rumble and Gwen: AP Champions Rule the Top Lane

Rumble became the most picked champion in the top lane in Week 2 with just 4 total picks; a number that would have been far higher if not for the 8 times that the champion was banned. Incredibly, Rumble claimed the top spot in the top lane while also winning every single game in which he was picked.

After her recent buffs, Gwen paints similar picture in the top lane as well, as she was banned a total of 10 times - the highest number of bans for a single champion in Week 2. Gwen was also able to win both games in which she was picked, bolstering a 100% win rate just like Rumble.

With the removal of lane swaps, AP champions continue to dominate the top lane thanks to their sheer strength in the laning phase, as well as the fact that they allow for increased flexibility elsewhere in the draft.

Can teams find a way to deal with these champions, or will Gwen and Rumble proceed to be banned throughout most of Week 3 at the LEC Spring 2025?
