With the Semifinals of BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 behind us, Copenhagen is primed for a blockbuster conclusion. Team Falcons and Team Vitality will square off in a Bo5 Grand Final matchup dripping with revenge. For Falcons, it’s another shot at redemption. For Vitality, it’s a chance to further cement their era of dominance.

Falcons: Rising From the Ashes

Team Falcons are in the midst of a renaissance. After lifting the trophy in Bucharest, the squad made a bold roster change by bringing in m0NESY in place of degster. The move paid off instantly, a second-place finish at IEM Melbourne turned heads, but it was their Semifinals performance in Copenhagen that proved that it was no fluke.

Their 2-0 sweep over MOUZ was as clinical as it was inspiring. On Nuke, Falcons clawed back from a deficit, fueled by m0NESY’s incredible mechanical skill. Then, on Dust2, they slammed the door shut with a commanding 13-6 win.

This version of Falcons isn’t just about star power; the entire lineup has found a new gear. And crucially, they’ve already proven they can push Vitality to the brink. But this time, they’ll be gunning for more than just respect.

Vitality: Kings of the Castle

There’s no disputing it - Vitality are currently the best CS2 team in the world by a significant margin. Riding high on a historic 24-match win streak and fresh off a Grand Slam-winning campaign at IEM Melbourne, the team arrives at these Grand Finals with confidence and consistency in equal measure.

Their semifinal against Team Spirit showed exactly why they’re a cut above the competition. In what many were hoping to be a close fight, Vitality cruised to a 2-0 victory, effortlessly neutralizing donk and his squad. While the spotlight has historically shone brightest on Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, the rest of the roster has stepped up in monumental ways. From mezii’s rifle dominance to apEX’s throwback to his glory days, this is a team that thrives across every department.

Prediction

Falcons nearly pulled off the upset at Melbourne, and they’ve only grown stronger since. If m0NESY continues to fire and the supporting cast rises once more, the Falcons have the tools to go the distance against Team Vitality. But despite the fire Falcons bring, Vitality’s discipline, synergy, and winning pedigree give them the edge. Expect another nail-biting series, and yet another victory for the French powerhouse.

Map Veto

With Falcons permabanning Ancient and Vitality removing Anubis, the remaining map pool features Dust2, Inferno, Mirage, Nuke, and Train. But the sequencing of maps could heavily influence the outcome. A strong start will be crucial for the underdogs; meanwhile, a hole in Vitality’s map pool might cost them dearly.

Final Verdict: Vitality 3-2 Falcons

Will Falcons write a new chapter, or will Vitality extend their empire? Copenhagen awaits the answer.
