Thunderpick World Championship 2025: Teams, Format, Schedule, Results and More
Starting October 15, Malta will host 8 teams for the Thunderpick World Championship 2025. The two stage, four day event will be a quick stop for the teams before they head to IEM Chengdu.
Teams and Format
Thunderpick World Championship features two stages:
Group Stage:
- Eight teams will form two groups of four
- Each group plays a double-elimination bracket
- Only two teams qualify for each group
- All games are Bo3
Playoff Stage:
- 4-team Single Elimination Bracket
- Intergroup pairings
- All games are Bo3

The tournament kicks off October 15 with the Group stage. The complete schedule for the tournament is as follows:
- Wednesday, October 15:
- 10:30 am CEST: FURIA vs. OG
- 1:30 pm CEST: The MongolZ vs. 9z
- 4:30 pm CEST: Natus Vincere vs. Imperial Gaming
- 7:30 pm CEST: Aurora Gaming vs. Team Venom
- Thursday, October 16:
- 10:30 am CEST: Group A Winners
- 1:30 pm CEST: Group A Elimination
- 4:30 pm CEST: Group B Winners
- 7:30 pm CEST: Group B Elimination
- Friday, October 17:
- 3:00 pm CEST: Group A Decider
- 7:30 pm CEST: Group B Decider
- Saturday, October 18:
- 04:00 pm CEST: Semifinal 1
- 07:30 pm CEST: Semifinal 2
- Sunday, October 19:
- 01:30 pm CEST: Third Place Finisher
- 05:00 pm CEST: Grand Finals
