In a historic moment at the Amazon Arena, Team Secret clinched their first-ever trophy by winning the Rainbow Six Siege X Esports World Cup. They dominated G2 Esports in the Grand Finals with a crushing 3-0 victory, completing an unbeaten run throughout the tournament without dropping a single map.

Team Secret 3-0 G2 Esports

From the outset of the Grand Finals, Team Secret showcased flawless coordination and strategic depth. They won the first map, which was G2's pick of Kafe, with a very strong defense, showing major holes into G2's game plan and performance. The subsequent two maps, Club House and Nighthaven Labs, saw Secret further tighten control, effectively shutting down G2’s attempts to mount a comeback.

Team Secret exhibited strong adaptability, with consistent contributions from nearly every player in most rounds, showcasing a level of teamwork that their opponents couldn't match. G2 Esports’ Zach “Stompn” Lamb emerged as the standout player of the series with an impressive rating of 1.34, the Europe MENA champions leaned heavily on the American’s individual brilliance.

A Historic First and the End of an Era

With this victory, Team Secret ended the impressive three-year championship streak held by Shaiiko and co. of Falcons (formerly Team BDS). Curiously, this was also the fourth Grand Final in Saudi Arabia to conclude with a 3-0 scoreline.

This triumph also marks the first Tier-1 Rainbow Six Siege title for both Team Secret as an organization and their current roster, marking a significant milestone in their competitive legacy.

MVP: Adrian "Adrian" Tryka

Adrian stood out as the MVP of the tournament, maintaining an impressive 1.14 rating. His quiet but high-impact plays ensured that Team Secret maintained stability in key moments, allowing their star players to thrive. Adrian’s support and consistent impact were critical to keeping the team energized and focused throughout the competition.

Team Secret’s clean sweep of G2 Esports to lift the Esports World Cup trophy is a landmark achievement, showcasing their rise as a global powerhouse in Rainbow Six Siege. Securing their first Tier-1 title, they have now etched their names in Siege X history.
