Team Liquid has officially announced the inclusion of Brazilian rifler Felipe "skullz" Medeiros to their Counter-Strike roster. This marks the first step in the organization's comprehensive rebuild.

A Rising Star

Skullz joins forces with established players NAF and YEKINDAR, bringing with him an impressive track record from his 15-month stint with paiN Gaming. During this period, he showcased outstanding performance, boasting a remarkable 1.16 rating over 251 maps and consistently proving himself as paiN's standout player.

His prowess extends to offline play and against top-tier competition. Notably, at the BLAST.tv Paris Major, Skullz delivered a standout performance, averaging an exceptional 1.41 rating over seven maps in the Challengers Stage.

Fluxo, a Dutch organization, was initially in negotiations with paiN for Skullz, reportedly considering a $600,000 buyout. However, upon being approached by Liquid, Skullz shifted his focus, expressing a desire to negotiate with the renowned North American organization.

The Liquid Lineup

With the addition of Skullz and the expected arrival of Twistzz, Liquid is poised for a significant roster transformation. This revamped lineup positions Liquid as eligible contenders in the Americas for the upcoming PGL Copenhagen Major.

The current Liquid line-up consists of:

What Lies Ahead

As Liquid continues to shape their roster, eyes are now on the anticipated additions of Twistzz, cadiaN, and coach zews. This strategic overhaul aims to position Liquid as a formidable force in the competitive CS2 scene.

With Skullz on board and the potential additions on the horizon, Liquid's future in Counter Strike appears promising. The dynamic blend of experienced players and rising talents sets the stage for an exciting chapter in the organization's history.
