The rumors about  Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev joining Team Secret could come to fruition as he has now left his team — Darkside. Earlier at the end of the DPC Winter Tour for Western Europe, a Russian caster shared that he had received information stating that Ramzes had been given an offer from Team Secret.

Events that led to the decision

Going into the 2022-2023 DPC Winter Tour, Darkside was one of the promising teams in the Eastern Europe region and many expected it would qualify for the Lima Major. Ramzess and the team started the season strong, winning 2 series against Natus Vincere and Nemiga Gaming however, they couldn’t manage to secure any other series win after their debut.

The team doesn't get relegated to Division II for the Spring Tour - however, with a record of 2 win(s) and 5 loss(es), the team doesn’t qualify for the Lima Major either.

The leave

In a voice message recorded by Ramzess for Telegram Channel, Ramzess stated that there were problems on the team and it got worse every day. Even the two victories that the team had could not happen and the team could get relegated to Division II. But he continued on to say that the team could also have beaten any of the strongest teams in the region and it was random. Everything depended very much on the mood and other things.

Regarding his communications with the teams, Ramzess said that even though he had a lot of questions like how the team will get along, how everything will map out, and much more, he decided to try but in the end, it does not work out.

The Future

In the same recorded message, Ramzess also said before joining Darkside, he had a lot of offers from both WEU and EEU teams, but he refused them all and decided to join Darkside. However in the end, it didn't work out and he is no longer on the team.

Ramzes also noted in the same statement that he is going to rest until the end of the Winter Tour and The Lima Major. However, according to the rumors, Team Secret is looking for a reset and they have both Ramzes and Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak in their sight for the next Tour.
