There is simply no stopping Los Ratones right now, as Caedrel's squad smashed their way through the 2025 EMEA Masters Spring Grand Finals. After sweeping Barça eSports, Los Ratones have now won all four tournaments they have played in less than half a year, dominating the European Tier-2 scene in the process.

Los Ratones Claim Their Revenge

Spearheaded by legends of the LEC such as Tim "Nemesis" Lipovšek and Martin "Rekkles" Larsson, this Los Ratones roster was built for success. And yet, their journey through EMEA Masters Spring looked in jeopardy after Los Ratones lost their second match of the tournament against Barça eSports.

Their rivals, #1 seed of the Spanish SuperLiga, dominated a star studded Los Ratones to leave the team just one match away from elimination. The loss, however, seemed to light a fire beneath Caedrel's squad.

Not only did Los Ratones manage to make the Playoffs after the loss, but the team went on two clean sweep three of their four series across the bracket. And the final team to fall victim to the wrath of Los Ratones? None other than Barça.

Just days after their first match, the Spanish side looked entirely devoid of answers throughout the Grand Finals against a Los Ratones squad that dominated the map, outplayed teamfights, and strode confidently toward the title.

"It was a 3-0, bro. I didn't even have to stress. Every game, the early game they were smashing. I mean, the team's crazy. Everyone's crazy." -Caedrel

Nemesis Is Timeless

A star in the LEC and face of Fnatic more than 5 years ago, Nemesis has set out to prove that class is, indeed, permanent. Despite the countless patches, champion changes, and new faces since he played at the highest level, the Mid Laner clearly hasn't missed a beat.

To cap off the Los Ratones sweep in the Grand Finals to get to the trophy, Nemesis put on stellar showing on Xerath in the final game of the series. With a 11/0/12 individual scoreline in the final game of the series on a champion that has not been part of the competitive meta for what seems like an eternity now, the Slovenian Mid Laner was crowned Finals MVP of the EMEA Masters Spring tournament.

Dominating the Scene

Despite having little more than half a year working in tandem after the squad was put together by Caedrel back near the end of 2024, the Los Ratones machine operates about as cleanly as it gets.

Now, in just five months competing in EMEA's Tier-2 scene, Los Ratones' numbers paint a picture of domination. In the 31 total matches that the team has played this year so far, Los Ratones have only lost a total of 3 series. To cap off their rampant streak, Caedrel's squad have come away with the trophy at every single tournament they have attended in 2025 so far.

With four trophies now under their belt, the question has to be asked: is there no stopping Los Ratones?
