LEC Summer Split Playoffs: Schedule, Teams, Format, and More

The League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) finds itself heading towards the conclusion of its Summer Split. The 2024 LEC Summer Split Playoffs will begin on the 12th of July, and is set to run until the 28th of the same month.

Moreover, the Playoffs come off the back of a near week and a half break since the conclusion of the 2024 LEC Summer Regular Split. Similar to last year’s Summer Split Playoffs, the top 8 performing teams from the LEC will convene.

The winner of the 2024 LEC Summer Split Playoffs will guarantee themselves a spot in the 2024 Season World Championships (Worlds).

The teams qualified are (Based on Summer Standing):

2024 LEC Summer Split Playoffs Format

During this over 2-week long conclusion to the Summer Split, 8 teams will compete within a double-elimination bracket. Rounds 1 and 2 will be played in Bo3 format, all further matches will be in Bo5 format.

The top 3 teams from this Playoffs will qualify for the 2024 LEC Season Finals later this year. Furthermore, the winner will be guaranteed a spot at Worlds later this year, regardless of their placement in the LEC Season Finals.
