JDG Esports has announced the signing of Peng "XUN" Lixun, completing their roster for the 2025 LPL season. Known for his sharp game sense and ability to dictate the tempo of matches, XUN is recognized as a strategic playmaker who thrives under pressure.

XUN’s professional career began in 2020 with Invictus Gaming Young before transitioning to Invictus Gaming’s main roster and later joining Bilibili Gaming. Over the past two seasons, XUN solidified himself as one of the most prominent junglers in the world.

With BLG, XUN has accrued quite the resume, with 2nd place finishes at MSI 2023 and 2024, two regional titles at LPL Spring and Summer 2024, and rounding out the 2024 season with a 2nd place finish at Worlds.

The organization confirmed the move on their X account, revealing that XUN will replace long-time jungler Seo "Kanavi" Jin-hyeok. This marks the end of Kanavi’s impactful near 6-year stint with the team and ushers in a new era for JDG as they aim to maintain their status among the LPL elite.

JDG’s Vision for 2025

JDG expressed their enthusiasm for XUN’s arrival, highlighting his leadership, dynamic gameplay, and relentless pursuit of excellence. The organization also emphasized their commitment to reaching new heights with XUN as the “engine driving their momentum.”

XUN’s addition to JDG’s roster completes the puzzle for the upcoming LPL season. As the team transitions from Kanavi to a new chapter under XUN’s leadership, expectations are high for JDG to continue their legacy of excellence.
