The Western European TI Qualifiers are underway, with many upsets still to be had. Moreover, a SEA player, Kim "Gabbi" Santos, is turning heads in the region with his new team, Entity. Gabbi proved he is more than comfortable in his new role as he helped Entity dominate the upper bracket of qualifiers.

Gabbi’s Journey & Impact

Gabbi has been missing from the Dota professional scene for most of the 2022-2023 DPC Season. However, as the TI qualifiers drew near, he joined Entity to try his luck at the tournament. The player has to face some challenges as he joins a new team. The player got put into a new role, position 3, Offlane.

Offlane is the most difficult core role in Dota 2, and many players struggled to adjust to this role. Despite his new demanding role, Gabbi proved his versatility in the new region. Playing the likes of Doom and Legion Commander, the player caught the attention of fans with Entity as they attempted to secure a slot at the upcoming International. Moreover, the player had also pulled off a cheesy offlane Keeper Of Light. With him being a former safelaner, the player’s versatile hero pool allowed Entity to try for new line-ups comfortably.

Entity’s Past and Present

Entity’s debut season went great. However, in the 2022-2023 DPC Season, the team started to show its cracks. They only attended The Lima Major this season. After The Lima Major, the team struggled to keep up with most teams from Division I, just shy of getting relegated. The team did a roster shuffle before going into The Internationals Qualifiers 2023, and currently, it seems their decision is paying dividends. Although Nigma Galaxy made them bleed in their opening series at the qualifiers, Entity came out on top. They tore down everyone in their path, at the upper bracket in the Western European Qualifiers, as they secured their ticket to The International 2023.
