FaZe Clan Makes History With Back-to-Back Six Invitational Wins

The Six Invitational 2026 has come to an end, and a dynasty has officially been cemented in Paris. FaZe Clan defeated Team Secret 3-1 to claim the World Championship title.

This victory marks back-to-back Invitational wins for the Brazilians, a feat that etches this roster into the history books as arguably the greatest to ever touch the game. For Team Secret, it was a heartbreaking end to their campaign through the lower bracket, but for FaZe, it was destiny fulfilled.

Total Domination Early On

The series kicked off on Consulate, and frankly, things went south for Team Secret almost immediately. FaZe Clan came out swinging, looking every bit the defending champions they were. They controlled the pace, suffocating Secret’s attacks and punishing every overextension. FaZe took a commanding lead at the half and didn't look back, closing out the map 7-4.

If map one was a statement, map two on Bank was a demolition. FaZe Clan steamrolled their opponents with a 7-2 victory that left the Adidas Arena stunned. It looked like the series was destined for a quick 3-0 sweep. The Brazilian squad was winning their opening duels, trading efficiently, and simply outclassing a Secret roster that looked shell-shocked by the pressure of the moment.

Secret Fires Back

But Team Secret wasn't going down without a fight. Moving to Fortress, the European squad finally woke up. The map turned into a marathon, with both teams refusing to give an inch. Jume and the squad started finding the gaps in FaZe’s armor, pushing the game into deep overtime.

It was a back-and-forth thriller that saw FaZe celebrate prematurely at one point, thinking they had secured the title, only for the round to be overturned or extended. That moment of confusion seemed to fuel Secret, who rallied to snatch the map 11-9, keeping their tournament hopes alive and proving they belonged on the big stage.

A Nail-Biting Finish

The fourth map, Border, was where the reality of a dynasty hit hard. The momentum had shifted, and Secret pushed FaZe to the absolute limit. It was another overtime classic, with rounds trading back and forth. The crowd in Paris was electric, sensing that a reverse sweep might actually be possible.

However, championship composure is something you can't teach, and FaZe has it in spades. When it mattered most, stars like Handyy and Cyber stepped up to make the clutch plays that define legend. FaZe stabilized in the chaos of overtime, winning the crucial gunfights to close out the map 10-8.

A Legacy Cemented

With this 3-1 victory, FaZe Clan has done the unthinkable: winning two consecutive Six Invitational titles. They didn't just win, they defended their throne against a hungry challenger that had taken down giants like G2 and W7M to get there.

For Team Secret, the loss stings, especially after showing such resilience in the latter half of the series. But tonight belongs to FaZe Clan. They have proven that their 2025 run wasn't a fluke, it was the start of an era. The Hammer stays with FaZe, and right now, it’s hard to see anyone taking it away.
