As Rainbow Six Siege ushers in a new era with the highly anticipated Siege X update launching tomorrow, competitive fans have even more reason to be excited. In just two days, the BLAST R6 Regional Leagues will kick off their 2025 circuit, beginning with the Asia Pacific League 2025 - Oceania - Stage 1.
With revamped schedules, crucial SI Points, and Esports World Cup 2025 qualifications on the line, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Let’s break down what to expect from each region as Stage 1 action gets underway across the globe.
Asia Pacific League 2025
The Asia Pacific League is the most geographically diverse and structurally complex of the four BLAST R6 regions, split into APAC North, Asia, and Oceania. Each sub-region includes eight teams and follows an identical two-phase format: a BO1 round-robin Group Stage and a BO3 double-elimination Playoff bracket.
- Oceania will be the first to begin, kicking off on June 11 with its Group Stage running until July 1. The playoffs will take place from July 11 to July 25.
- Asia will begin on June 13, concluding its Group Stage by July 3, with Playoffs set from July 12 to July 26.
- APAC North kicks off June 15 and ends its Group Stage by July 6, with the Playoffs running from July 13 to July 27.
From each of these sub-regions, the 1st placed teams will earn a spot at the Esports World Cup 2025.
North America League 2025
The North America League 2025 - Stage 1 will begin on June 12 and conclude on July 19. Following the same competitive structure as its global counterparts, the Group Stage will take place from June 12 to July 12, with the top six teams advancing to a double-elimination Playoff bracket that will be held from July 16-19.
The Group Stage will feature a BO1 single round-robin format, determining the top six squads for the double-elimination Playoffs.
The top four teams from Stage 1 will also secure tickets to the Esports World Cup 2025, making the Playoffs a must-watch affair.
Europe and MENA League 2025
Europe and MENA league kicks off on June 15, with the Group Stage lasting until July 6, and the Playoffs running from July 13 to July 27.
The Group Stage will feature a BO1 single round-robin format, determining the top six squads for the double-elimination Playoffs.
As in the other regions, teams will fight for SI 2026 Points, but there's an added bonus - five teams from Europe and MENA will qualify for the Esports World Cup 2025.
South America League 2025
South America continues to be the most competitive and tactically diverse regions in Rainbow Six esports. The league kicks off its Stage 1 on June 14, wrapping up the Group Stage by July 13, and diving into Playoffs from July 19 to July 27. The region has gained considerable momentum in recent years and continues to show promise.
Like the other regions, the format includes BO1 Group Stage matches and BO3 Playoffs, with six teams progressing into the final bracket.
The top four teams will earn spots at the Esports World Cup 2025.
SI Points Breakdown
Across all four regions, teams won’t just be competing for trophies or regional dominance. With SI 2026 Points distributed to the top five placements, these leagues are the first key step toward qualifying for the prestigious Six Invitational 2026. The breakdown is simple:
- 1st place gets 300 points
- 2nd takes 150
- 3rd through 5th receive 50 each.
This distribution also holds true for each of the sub-divisions of the Asia Pacific Leage.
With the launch of Siege X and the BLAST R6 Regional Leagues just days apart, Rainbow Six Siege is set to enter a transformative phase. The race toward the Esports World Cup and SI 2026 begins now. Fans around the globe can expect thrilling matches, rising stars, and a glimpse into what the next generation of Siege looks like.
