The Tier 2 Competitive League of Legends returns to EMEA with the start of the EMEA Masters Winter 2025 tournament.

Will Los Ratones' rampant run continue or will somebody put a stop to Caedrel's team when the tournament starts on Monday, March 17th?

Let's take a look at everything there is to know about the coming EMEA Masters Winter 2025.

Format

A total of sixteen teams will compete to crown the EMEA Masters Winter Champions. The tournament is made up for all winners from each regional league, plus the second placed teams from the French LFL, the German Prime League, and the Spanish Superliga.

To start things off, these sixteen teams will be divided into four groups. At the Group Stage, teams in a group will battle it out in Bo3 series across double-elimination bracket, where only the top two teams will qualify for the Playoff Stage.

At the Playoffs, teams will need to be locked in or risk waving goodbye to their title chances. The Playoffs will be played through Bo5 series throughout a single-elimination bracket: you lose, you're out.

For viewers everywhere, rest assured Fearless Draft will be used throughout the entirety of the EMEA Masters Winter 2025.

With the recent changes to the Tier-2 scene in EMEA, however, all teams and players are able to stream their own official games at any time they wish. This means you can watch the EMEA Masters Winter games from the point-of-view of the players if these opt to stream the games live.

With Los Ratones claiming the NLC title without breaking a sweat while continuing to shatter viewership numbers in the Tier-2 scene, will any team rise to the challenge and bring these titans down at the EMEA Masters Winter?
