After the first legendary player, Lee "Faker" Sang-Hyeok was inducted into the League of Legends Hall of Fame, Riot Games revealed a skin bundle commemorating this achievement. And the fans are not happy with the price of this bundle.

While this bundle will have different tiers that you can buy, the cheapest one being the "Immortalized Legend Ahri", the starting price begins at 32000 RP and the whole pack with Faker's Hall of Legends pass will cost exactly 59260 RP. That is equivalent to around $450.

After this announcement fans were confused - why does this bundle cost so much? The standard bundle price is around 40$, while this massive jump in the price tag will get closer to 300$ for the cheapest bundle - "Immortalized Legends".

After this jump fans started to voice their opinion on Reddit and not one of them is happy with this new price tag.

"The problem is that Riot is locking these cosmetics on a bundle. The cosmetics within the bundle are skyrocketing the price, but if you look at the content then you still get somewhat of a good value. If Riot decides to allow us to buy the skins separately then there would be no issue", - said one Redditor.

The most expensive bundle in the game

Other fans are mad at the fact that the premium Ahri skin is separated at a higher price than others. While this skin got massive attention at the announcement, it seems that the fans will have to buy two skins to get the most out of the Fakers event, the other skin being the Rising Legends LeBlanc.

Irony here is the fact, that Faker is known for not using any skins at all. He rarely uses skins in-game, let alone expensive skins, even dating back to his rookie years. What is the reason for that? Maybe humility? It does not matter, but the massive jump to close to 500$ for a skin bundle is just shocking.

“It’s crazy that Faker, known for his generosity and taking less salary over the years so he could stay in Korea, is going to be associated with these crazy packages",- said a Redditor JustinToronto.

Even though the bundle is packed with goodies, including skins, animations, borders, and visual announcers, the price point set is way out of the standards of anything in this video game, regardless of how great of a player Faker is.

“What’s the point of a Hall of Legends skin if 99.9999% of the player base isn’t gonna buy it?", - one Redditor commented.

Faker’s Hall of Legends pass will go live in League of Legends on June 12th.
