Due to unforeseen health concerns, the Valorant superstar, Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker will miss the upcoming Riot Games One Pro Invitational 2023. The tournament was set to be his debut with the BLEED squad.

Hosted by K-Arena Yokohama, the Riot Games One Pro Invitational 2023 is a 4-team exhibition tournament featuring Yay’s team BLEED alongside Natus Vincere, Detonation FocusMe and ZETA Division.

Earlier this year, Yay made a surprising decision to join the newly ascended VCT Pacific team, BLEED. Based in Singapore, BLEED reportedly had the biggest offer for the North American star.

The squad has some of the strongest players in the region and had a dominant run to win the VCT Pacific Ascension 2023. On the roster, Yay definitely has surrounded himself with some of the best players.

The whole Valorant community awaited the new BLEED’s debut, especially the BLEED and Yay fans. Their debut was set for Riot Games One Pro Invitational 2023. Unfortunately, a while ago, BLEED announced Yay's absence from the tournament.

Commenting on his absence Yay said:

"I'm sorry that I'm unable to attend this event. I know a lot of you were looking forward to me and the feeling is mutual. Japan has always held a place in my heart and it's my #1 place to go to in the future. I hope you still will give the same love that you've given me to my team at Riot Games ONE"

Along with BLEED, Natus Vincere with Ardiis and the new DFM squad will debut at the event. The event kicks off December 3rd and will be a two-day affair.
