Rek'Sai Misses the Mark! Winners and Losers of League of Legends Patch 25.15

League of Legends Patch 25.15 has arrived, delivering substantial changes to the meta. With nerfs targeting several dominant champions and buffs breathing new life into old favorites, some names have skyrocketed in priority while others have fallen off the radar.

Now the time has come to take a look at which champions became the biggest winners and losers of LoL Patch 25.15.

Biggest Winners of the Patch

Corki

Changes to Corki in Patch 25.15 aimed to push the bombardier towards item builds heavier on AD. The buffs to the AD scaling of both his [Q] Phosphorous Bomb and [R] Missile Barrage have seen Corki's win rate rise compared to the previous patch, especially for players building into Critical Strike after Trinity Force and Manamune.

This allows Corki to maximize the damage he can deal through his [P] Hextech Munitions, which makes his auto attack deal true damage based on his amount of AD. Leaning into more traditional ADC builds has allowed Corki's win rate in Solo Queue to stabilize somewhat after the poor state he found himself in earlier in the year.

Kled

No champion in the game has benefitted from the arrival of Patch 25.15 to LoL as much as Kled has. The latest game update considerably buffed the amount of passive resistances the champion receives while dismounted, making Kled far more resilient while attempting to gather enough Courage to get Skaarl back.

This change was enough to see Kled's win rate skyrocket in the new patch after his latest overhaul, particularly in Emerald and above.

Biggest Losers of the Patch

Alistar

It's no secret that tank supports have reigned supreme for quite some time now. For that reason, Alistar was hit with a -7 Base Armor nerf in Patch 25.15, considerably reducing his tankiness in lane. This means enemy ADCs and ranged support champions have a far easier time chunking the Minotaur early on, making 2v2 life all the more difficult for Alistar.

Pantheon

Pantheon's latest nerf may have looked small at first, but it proved to be enough to see the champion's pick rate and win rate plummet in the new patch. Pantheon now deals reduced damage to jungle monsters with his main clear ability, [Q] Comet Spear, which means not only is he slower in the jungle and arrives later to ganks, but also delays the champion's access to his oppressive [R] Grand Starfall.

Rek'Sai

After spending a long time in the shadows, Rek'Sai finally received some attention as Riot Games decided to completely overhaul the champion's kit with Patch 25.15. Unfortunately for this Void Burrower, the update missed the mark entirely, somehow leaving Rek'Sai in an even worse state than she previously found herself in.

Hovering around 47%, Rek'Sai is currently one of the lowest win rate junglers in the entire game. Surely, some significant number buffs are expected to come her way with the coming patch.

An Evolving Meta

With Patch 25.15 in full swing, the meta is once again evolving. Whether you’re looking to exploit the rise of sleeper OP picks or avoid champions hit hardest by Riot’s nerf hammer, staying up to date is key. As always, adaptability is the name of the game. Keep an eye on win rates, watch how pros and streamers adjust, and don’t be afraid to pivot your champ pool.
