Every Dota 2 player knows that grinding for MMR in Dota is a task that requires an immense amount of patience and mental stamina. Only a few have been able to make it out of the trenches. Pro players are dubbed in Dota 2 as 1%. Many pro players continue to prove they are the best at the game by climbing higher rankings on the MMR ladder.

The highest MMR ranking currently in Dota 2 is 13K. There are only 2 players in that exclusive club. Recently, a third player joined the exclusive 13K MMR club. On 23rd February,  Entity’s safelane hard carry player Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov became the third player to hit 13K MMR joining the ranks of Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon and Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko.

Achieving the Milestone

Watson achieved this record-breaking milestone while playing for Entity in the starting days of the Lima Major. Looking at his most recent match by Dota 2 Pro Tracker, he played as Monkey King before reaching the milestone against Steven "StingeR" Mamani, Cheng "NothingToSay" Jin Xiang and David "dnm" Cossio.

He only had played 6 matches in the last 8 days and Watson currently has an 83.3% win rate on his main account. He also reached this milestone while currently playing in the South American region. The region is packed with high-tier players because of The Lima Major.  He shared his achievement first on his Telegram channel with the caption “FINALLY”. A few hours later, Entity congratulated him on Twitter.

Watson is known for his high-efficiency farming style. He can always find a safe farm on the map even though his team is getting pressured. He plays hard-farming heroes that ensure his team’s victory if the hero can find space on the map to farm. His signature heroes are Terrorblade, Morphling and Faceless Void.
