At the VCT NA Game Changers  2023 Series III Lower Round 2, Riot handed a match forfeit to Noot noot. The match forfeit comes after Riot Anti-cheat found one of the Noot noot player’s violating the competitive integrity. The ruling followed an hour long break between the second and the third map of the Noot noot and Complexity GX3 game.

Riot has already launched an investigation on the team in question. But the main concern is what happens to the games the team has already won, as the team qualified via Open Qualifiers and defeated multiple teams to reach the Main event.

Noot noot recently defeated Disguised GC at the VCT NA GC Main Event opening game. It is currently under investigation and has forfeited the tournament. Riot will soon post their findings and additional details on the ruling on their Twitter.

As per community’s speculations, the player in question is likely Madelyn “malibu” Evergreen. Talking about the accusations on the now locked Twitter account, malibu said:

heres what ill say

i didn't cheat

I am trans and the ppl closest to me know that is true.

and that headshot thing was definitely troll as fuck

ban was prob for ban evading but idk i should technically be unbanned by now

either way

enjoy ur laff

Furthermore, Allison "Xann" Evergreen, Malibu’s teammate added to the situation:

Right now, there is no information on what was the exact competitive integrity violation. Riot will disclose more information once their investigation on the subject matter concludes. You can follow VCT NA twitter for updates on the situation.
