Coronation Begins: VCT Game Changers Championship Schedule and Fixtures

The Inaugural VCT Game Changers Championship will kick off on 15th November. We will crown the first World Champion in the Game Changers circuit at the tournament.

The tournament will span five days, with the eight participating teams taking on each other in a double-elimination bracket. On the fifth day, 20th November, we will commemorate the first Game Changers World Champion.

A total of eight teams from six regions (EMEA, NA, Brazil, LATAM, East Asia, and APAC) will participate in the Valorant Game Changers Championship.

These teams are:

North America

  • Cloud9 White (meL, Katsumi, Alexis, Jazzykins, Bob)
  • Shopify Rebellion GC (KP, Benita, Flowerful, sonder, Lorri)

EMEA

  • G2 Gozen (Julia, Mimi, Petra, Glance, Mary)
  • Guild X(aNNja, cinnamon, Smurfette, roxi, ness)

Brazil

  • Team Liquid Brazil (drn, naxy, bstrdd, daiki, nat1)

Latin America

  • KRU Fem (consu, baesht, conir, kalita, romi)

East Asia

  • Fennel Hotelava (suzu, KOHAL, Festival, Len, Curumi)

Asia Pacific

  • X10 Sapphire (JinNy, Muffym, BAbytz, Poly, Alyssa)

 

These eight teams will battle in the inaugural Valorant Game changers championship and crown the first World Champion.

The draw decided the fixtures between the participating teams, with the eight teams playing a double-elimination bracket. The Eight teams selected were based on the circuit points or qualifying tournament depending on the region.

Teams from the same region were placed on the opposite side of the bracket to ensure they faced the last. The bracket for VCT Game Changers Championship is as follows:

With Cloud9 White and G2 Gozen in the same bracket, we will soon get the most anticipated match in the Game Changers circuit. The double-elimination bracket ensures all the teams get a second chance at redemption, and we have multiple lower-bracket run stories in VCT.

VCT Game Changers Schedule and Timings:

The tournament will kick off on 15th November and span for three days, with 14 matches being played. The complete schedule for the tournament is as follows:

Just like Valorant Champions, Viewers will be able to collect drops by watching VCT Game Changers Championship. The viewer must have the Riot account connected to Youtube or Twitch for the drops.

The first drop is the title "Game Changer," earned by watching a live game. Second is a 2022 Game Changers Championship Card which will drop during the Game Changers Finals.

The VCT Game Changers Championship will be available in multiple regional languages streams on Twitch and Youtube. English Viewers can follow the games on Twitch and Youtube. The complete list of the streams is available here.

First of it's kind, the International Game Changers Championship is undoubtedly a step in the right direction to promote Female and Marginalised Genders in Esports. The Live event is already sold out. The fan following for the event is already off the charts. With only a week left for the action to start, all the teams started to gather in Berlin. And on 20th November, we will crown our first Game Changers World Champion.
