Tundra Esports to play DreamLeague matches without Saksa
Recently, Tundra announced their roaming support player, Martin "Saksa" Sazdov, will take a short break during DreamLeague Season 19 due to burnout. Adam "Aramis" Moroz will be standin’ in for the rest of the team’s reaming DreamLeague matches in his stead. Saksa joined back in February 2022, filling in the shoes of Adrian "Fata" Trinks. A controversial move that faced a lot of backlash at the time for Tundra Esports, but the team proved it was the right decision by winning The International 2022 eight months later in the same year.
Results Speak
Saksa admitted on Twitter that he was feeling a bit burnout. Thus, he will be taking a break from the team for DreamLeauge, and he will come back for The Berlin Major.
Saksa was a former OG player before joining Tundra Esports. Tundra Esports' results improved after Saksa joined the team. The team has been consistently securing top finishes ever since. Currently, in DreamLeague Season 19, with a score of two wins, three ties and one loss, Tundra is placed 5th in Group B. Saksa’s last match for Tundra Esports in DreamLeague Season 19 was against Talon Eports. In their series against Talon Esports, even though Tundra won game 1, Talon Esports was able to come back stronger in game 2, ending the series with a tie.
A Perfect Debut
Aramis debuted for Tundra in the series against Nigma Galaxy, filling in the shoes of Saksa.
However, in the series against Nigma Galaxy, Tundra dominated the series taking a clean 2-0 victory. In game 1, Tundra played perfectly, slowly choking out Nigma Galaxy. Tundra took game 1 54 minutes. Game 2 was a complete stomp by Tundra Esports, as they shut down everything Nigma Galaxy had planned since the start of the laning stage. Not even Miracle-’s well-farmed Sven could save the game for NGX. At 35 minutes, NGX tapped out of game 2. It suffices to say that Aramis’s Tundra Esports debut went well, and fans will have to wait and see how the team performs in the remaining matches.
