With the 2023 World Championships commencing in a month, it will be important to root for your favorite team! This article features the competing teams in both the Play-In stage and the Swiss Stage.

There will be 22 teams competing this year! Here is the list of teams from each region with their seeds listed.

LPL (China)

  • 1st Seed - JDG Intel Esports Club (JDG)
  • 2nd Seed - Bilibili Gaming Pingan Bank (BLG)
  • 3rd Seed - LNG Esports (LNG)
  • 4th Seed - Weibo Gaming Faw Audi (WBG)

LCK (South Korea)

  • 1st Seed - Gen.G (GEN)
  • 2nd Seed - T1 (T1)
  • 3rd Seed - KT Rolster (KT)
  • 4th Seed - Dplus KIA (DK)

LEC (EMEA)

LCS (North America)

PCS (Southeast Asia)

  • 1st Seed - PSG Talon (PSG)
  • 2nd Seed - CTBC Flying Oyster (CFO)

VCS (Vietnam)

  • 1st Seed - GAM Esports (GAM)
  • 2nd Seed - Team Whales (TW)

CBLOL (Brazil)

LJL (Japan)

The teams that will participate in the play-in stage will be PSG & CFO (PCS), GAM & TW (VCS), LLL (CBLOL), DFM (LJL), R7 (LLA), and the winner of the Worlds Qualifying Series. It will be either GG (LCS) or BDS (LEC). The top two teams will join the Swiss stage.

The swiss stage consists of JDG, BLG, LNG & WBG (LPL), GEN, T1, KT & DK (LCK), G2, FNC & MAD (LEC), NRG, C9 & TL (LCS). The top two teams from the play-in stage will join these teams in the swiss stage. In this stage, 16 teams will battle to make the top 8 teams for knockouts.
