The StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Pick’Em Challenge is now live! Starting now until the Major Playoffs, players can participate in the Pick’Em Challenge, predict stage outcomes, upgrade their coins, and earn souvenir tokens and packages.

How to Participate in the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Pick’Em Challenge

To participate, players must purchase the Budapest 2025 Viewer Pass, available in the in-game Major hub.

There are two purchase options:

  • Budapest 2025 Viewer Pass – $9.99
  • Budapest 2025 Viewer Pass + 3 Souvenir Tokens – $19.99

Buying the Viewer Pass grants you the Championship Coin and access to the Pick’Em Challenges. Once purchased, activate the pass and complete challenges to upgrade your coin from Bronze to Diamond.

Challenges to upgrade the Coin are:

  • Activate the coin
  • Place all ten Pick’Em predictions for Stage 1 before it begins
  • Get five correct Pick’Em predictions for Stage 1
  • Place all ten Pick’Em predictions for Stage 2 before it begins
  • Get five correct Pick’Em predictions for Stage 2
  • Place all ten Pick’Em predictions for Stage 3 before it begins
  • Get five correct Pick’Em predictions for Stage 3
  • Place all seven Pick’Em predictions for Playoffs before it begins
  • Get two correct predictions for Quarterfinals
  • Get one correct prediction for Semifinals
  • Make a correct Pick’Em prediction for the Grand Final

The coin will be upgraded in stages. Each upgrade also rewards a Budapest Major 2025 Souvenir token, which in turn can be used to redeem Budapest 2025 Packages.

  • Completing 4 challenges upgrades the coin to Silver
  • Completing 8 challenges upgrades the coin to Gold
  • Completing all 11 challenges upgrades the coin to Diamond

Pick'Em Predictions

For the first three stages (Stages 1–3), players must correctly predict the following:

  • Two teams that will go 3-0 (undefeated)
  • Six teams that will qualify (3-1 or 3-2)
  • Two teams that will go 0-3 (without winning a map)

Note: The first two rounds of Stages 1, 2, and 3 are Bo1 matches, meaning they are highly volatile.

For the Playoffs, players must correctly predict the following:

  • Predict the winners of Quarterfinals
  • Predict the winners of Semifinals
  • Predict the Budapest Major Champion.
