Perfect World has announced the key dates for the Shanghai Major, carefully outlining crucial deadlines for teams and the final update to the Valve Regional Standings before the Regional Major Rankings (RMRs) officially begins.

Main and substitute roster lock for Shanghai Major

Firstly, the initial roster lock will be on September 7th, by which teams must submit their core lineup of five players, a full three months ahead of the Major's Opening Stage. Additionally, a second roster lock for any substitutions or final roster adjustments will follow on September 22nd.

Moreover, the official update to the Regional Standings, which will determine seedings and match pairings for the RMRs in Europe, the Americas, and Asia, scheduled for October 15. These updates will, therefore, play an important role in shaping the competition leading into the Major.

As the Major cycle quickly approaches, the closed qualifiers for Europe’s RMR will begin on August 21. The RMR events, scheduled throughout November, will culminate in the Major, starting with the Opening Stage on November 30. Teams are now racing against time to finalize their lineups and prepare for the intense competition that will define their path to victory.

And yet, here we are in March 2026, watching Falcons get knocked out of BLAST Open Spring in the quarterfinals by PARIVISION.
