The Western European International qualifiers have reached their climax as Quest Esports became the final team to qualify for The Internationals. Quest Esports is a team made up of upcoming talents and rookies trying to prove themselves.

Quest Esports’ Journey

The roster formerly played the Ooredoo Thunders banter. They climbed out of WEU Division II within a year. In Division I, the team frequently displayed consistent performance, challenging the likes of Team Liquid and Gaimin Gladiators. Moreover, the team tried to secure a direct invite to The Internationals, but their Bali Major’s run fell short as they got eliminated by Team Liquid, placing fourth. The team also qualified for The Riyadh Masters 2023 through the MENA qualifiers. However, despite making it to the playoffs, Gaimin Gladiators eliminated them in round two of the lower brackets. Quest had to go through the lengthy qualifiers, as they failed to secure a direct invite.

Quest At Qualifiers

Their performance in the DPC 2022-2023 makes Quest one of the favourites heading into the WEU Qualifiers. The team also went through a roster shuffle before their Qualifiers run. The roster shuffle played a crucial part in their run at the qualifiers. The team won their debut series against the KZ Team. However, in their following series, Quest fell short against Luna Galaxy, a Division II team. The loss put Quest’s road to TI at risk, as the team will have to continue from lower brackets and a series away from elimination.

Despite the odds against them, Quest Esports never succumbed to the pressure. The team put together a marvellous performance in their lower bracket run, taking down the likes of OG and Team Secret. In the lower bracket grand finals, they avenged their upper bracket defeat. Taking the clean sweep against Luna Galaxy, Quest Esports punched their way to Seattle for October.
