Quartero's Curios: New Season, New Hero Sets
After a long winter, there is always a blooming spring to renew the circle of life and Quartero's Curios inside Dota 2. Let's take a look at his new stock of items.
Quartero's Curios is a permanent event that Valve introduced to Dota along with patch 7.39d. All you need to get his free items as gifts is to play Dota and increase your Curio level (by winning or losing).

Quartero's Curios: Quintessa, the Sister
As soon as we reach the Dota 2 dashboard, we meet a new character in the Quartero family, his sister, called Quintessa. She assumes you're stealing the first part of the Blue Lotus set from his wares.

Shortly after, Quartero arrives and confirms her suspicion that he's being threatened once again. Finally, you get the Lotus Calyx, a Death Prophet chest, as your first item this quarter.
Three New Sets and an Alternative Style
As usual, as you progress through your Curio levels, there are three main sets that will be given as rewards in pieces. "The Blue Lotus" is a Death Prophet set that you get after going up to level 10.
After that, Zeus' "Stormfather" is the reward for getting to level 18. Finally, if you get to level 30, you get every part of Mars' "The Red Berserker" set. The alternative style for Mars' set is called "WorldsEnd" and takes 70 extra levels to unlock every part of it at level 100.

In between these levels, we get the usual seasonal FX customizations, which have a pink tone and flower petals as a theme for the spring. You get all seasonal effects after reaching level 29.
Finally, there are the Quartero's Spring 2026 Antiques. These are special drops that give you a chance of getting a set from a list of 100 previously released items, including a small drop chance for Arcanas and Immortals.

The first antique, which you get at level 5, is a special one. It has five special sets picked by Valve to award players that keep Dota 2 alive and play every season.
Quartero's Curios: Leveling and Availability
If you're an old-timer returning to Dota, Quartero's Curios has a pretty simple progression. You get 650 XP per win in normal matches and even if you lose, you still get 250 XP. Each level demands 1000 XP.

If you prefer to play Turbo, it's OK; you still get experience, but a smaller amount. Wins give you 425 XP and losses award 175 XP. This means that even if you get stuck in a losing streak, you still move forward.
The event will last until June 4 as we can see in the screen captures above. This means that we will get another item rotation before The International 2026.
New Season Bringing Rumors
There are some rumors that Valve is preparing another event with a similar scope to Crownfall. If that is true and Valve also aims to release it around April 18, we are a month away from a big patch and an event that will set the theme for Dota 2 in 2026.
For now, things are merely speculation, but word runs fast and players are already eager for something big to prepare the way to this year's International.
