BetBoom Dacha Online Stage concluded yesterday with a spectacular showing from Nigma Galaxy. The team substantially grew during the entirety of the tournament. After a shaky start to the Play-ins, Nigma started to gain momentum. After moving to the Decider through the Lower Bracket, NGX lost only one game to Level UP.

Nigma Galaxy at Play-ins

Entering the Dacha Tournament, Nigma was a fan favorite despite not being in top form. However, other teams, such as Level UP and Nemiga Gaming, were formidable opponents. With the new patch released mid-tournament, it wasn't enough time for the teams to work on new strategies. Nigma stuck to what they knew best and pulled off a win against One Move by going the distance.

Nigma's Loss to Nemiga Gaming

On the day of the 7.34 update, Nigma Galaxy faced Nemiga. The new update, along with rmN- standing in for KuroKy, gave Nemiga the upper hand. Though rmN- played well, it was not enough for Nigma to win the series. Nemiga adapting their draft to the update played in their favor. v1olent` dominated both games on his Terrorblade and Sven.

This was, however, the last series that Nigma Galaxy would lose. They learned from their loss and started figuring out the new patch. Going into the next game against KZ Team, Nigma got a clean 2-0 victory & qualified for the Decider.

Dominating the Deciders

As the tournament continued, NGX got stronger. Adapting to the patch, Nigma's draft started changing, keeping the enemy on their toes. The team's morale increased, in turn increasing the pace of their gameplay. Nigma's confidence in their skill and overall experience kept them calm throughout the games and turned fights in their favor. Going into the Grand Finals against Level UP, Nigma was unstoppable. Level UP controlled most of Game 1, but towards the end, Nigma turned the game around, winning 2 team fights and closing the game. Games 2 & 3 were very one-sided, favoring Nigma. Unable to stop them from seiging, Level UP tapped out, qualifying Nigma to the Lan.

The Spectacular Support Duo

Nigma's support duo, KuroKy, and GH, were crucial for their victories. Kuro, on his classic Chen, was constantly pressuring the enemy and splitting them up. His Enchantress was also on point doing the most damage (around 26k) in Game 3 against Level UP.

GH was an absolute beast on his Earth Spirit, showing why he's unrivaled with this hero. Always showing up at the right time to save his team during fights, GH was ready to sacrifice himself. He also played a major role in catching the enemy for his team to initiate fights.

Is Nigma Back ??

After the Grand Finals post-game interview with Yuma, the most pressing question was asked: Is Nigma back? The carry player replied that though they were a bit rusty at the start of the tournament, he felt Nigma was back.

With the Main Event of the BetBoom Dacha still to come, Nigma has a lot of work cut out for them. Although they have a reputation for being a completely different team in LAN, they are going against Europe's finest.

It has been a long since Nigma entered a stage, hopefully, they can give their best.
